Wedding Cake Information

 Cakes are tastefully and elegantly decorated. We are flexible and can work from your ideas.

Lead-time To secure your weeding date with Bakery On State there is a $75 deposit, which applies to the purchase of the wedding cake.

Payment Policies Payment is due in full two weeks prior to the delivery date. We accept cash, check, money order, MasterCard, or Visa.

Cake Samples Prior to your final flavor selection, you may find it helpful to order a 6” sample cake with your choice of cake, filling and icing for only $5. The cheesecake/cake combination is also available in a 6” sample cake size for $10. 

Cake Options

Flavors

• Cakes We offer cake in white, chocolate, marble, carrot, poppy seed, and, for a small additional charge, our New York-style cheesecake. Our specialty cake is a tier consisting of a layer of cheesecake and white cake, with a fruit filling between. (Keep this in mind for your next anniversary cake too!)
   
• Fillings Raspberry, Strawberry, Lemon, Blueberry, Cherry, Vanilla French Cream, Bavarian Creme, Chocolate French Cream.
   
• Icings Choose from French creme or butter creme. Or for that elegant finish, rolled fondant.

Styles

• Shapes We can create a variety of shapes: square, round, heart, petal, hexagon, and oval.
   
• Sizes Cake sizes are flexible and may be scaled up or down by adding or removing tiers or adjusting the tier size.
  
• Flowers I am willing to work with your florist to add the delicate touch of fresh flowers to your wedding cake.
   
• Ornaments Bakery On State offers a wide variety of cake toppers, pillars and stands. Or you may supply your own cake topper. A refundable deposit applies to returnable items.
   
• Plateaus Elegant silver plateaus for your cake to be displayed on are available to rent.
   
• Prices Our wedding cakes are priced per serving from $2.50 to $3.95 for the displayed wedding cake. We suggest additional undecorated layer cakes for larger guest lists to keep costs down. Undecorated layer cakes sell for $1.25 to $2.25 per serving. We offer layered sheet cakes in increments of 24 servings. A refundable deposit applies to cake stands, supports, pillars, fountains, and other returnable items.
  
• Delivery We deliver and set up cakes. We will deliver within approximately a 100-mile radius of Manitowoc, Wisconsin. Delivery and setup charges are dependent upon location.
